Senior Java Developer (offline) to $5500

You'll have an opportunity to build industry-leading financial technology that will dramatically improve financial markets for the better. The product is a mass-market financial service and application (i.e. like Robinhood, or Coinbase) and combines a financial approach with a crypto-economy.

After the initial ramp-up period, you will have a significant influence on the engineering direction and vision of the product.

Must-have skills and experience:
- Strong, hands-on experience in RESTful web services
- Experience with Websockets
- Experience with transactional applications/services built-in Java
- Experience with message-driven architectures
- Strong understanding of Java memory model and GC
- Experience in architecting & designing software products
- Minimal practical experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps approach and tools
- Upper-intermediate spoken and written English

Nice to have skills or experience:
- High frequency/near-real-time systems
- In-memory data grids
- AWS, Docker, Terraform or similar
- CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Develop high quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions from scratch;
- Take ownership of systems stability over the different environments;
- Provide technical leadership and strategic initiatives for the rest of the team.
