JavaScript Engineer, Investment Management Platform (offline)

DataArt’s client is a US-based investment company that manages tens of billions of dollars and conducts business in several areas: private equities, credits, and liquid markets.

Our project is related to one of the company's internal systems in terms of generating custom reports based on the multi-dimensional array of data. At this stage, DataArt’s team is engaged in both the development of new functionality and the improvement/revision of the existing functionality.

We hire people not to a project, but to the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Responsibilities:
- Work at all stages of the product lifecycle from requirements capture through design and implementation to system testing and integration
- Maintaining the coding standards within the team
- Estimation management
- Ensure the best possible performance and quality of high scale web applications and services

Must have:
- 3+ years of software development experience with JavaScript
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with React.JS
- Experience with Typescript and Redux
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
- High level extending and improving an established codebase
- Experience with tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Jira, etc.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Problem-solving and multitasking
- Good spoken English

Would be a plus:
- Experience working on SaaS productivity products
- Experience with SignalR or WebSockets
- Experience with custom webpack configurations
- Knowledge of financial business domain
- Experience working in an Agile environment
