Python Engineer (Big Data retraining) (offline)

Global cross-domain Big Data & AI practice at any business, the largest Big Data & AI Center of Excellence in Eastern Europe. Together with the SEI, Carnegie Mellon University, we adapted ADD and ATAM architecture design methodologies to Big Data needs and invented Smart Decisions game, to promote architecture design best practices in AI and Big Data domains.

YOU ARE
A skilled Python Engineer who is ready to switch your career direction to Big Data stack and pass an intensive 2-month practical retraining at SoftServe! During the whole retraining program, you will have a mentor and learn through a combination of theoretical and practical assignments. After the program, you will know general Big Data concepts, get hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Apache Spark and Datalab/Jupyter notebooks, and be ready working on real projects!

An expert with the following experience
— Excellent understanding of distributed computing technologies, approaches, and patterns
— At least 2 years working with Python and proficiency with backend development
— Hands-on expertise writing efficient SQL
— A concept of good programming practices along with unit and integration testing
— Understanding of basic concepts of relational database design, normalization, and de-normalization
— The cores of Git and GitHub
— Familiarity with Agile/Scrum process
— Graphical data representation using Pandas, Numpy, and SciPy is a plus point
— Theoretical knowledge of BigData/DS/ML as an advantage
— Self-motivated, Goal-oriented, well-organized, detail-oriented, and a strong team player attitude
— At least intermediate English (written and spoken)
