Senior Python Developer (offline)
About you:
• Python veteran , with a good understanding of modern web applications, HTTP and REST APIs .
django REST framework - bonus points for this!
Vue.js
PostgreSQL
• 5-7 years of experience on commercial projects
• We’re not interested in academic qualifications - nice if you have - but ultimately we are really looking for a hard-core coder
•You are quick to learn new technologies, while understanding that the latest new thing isn’t necessarily the best tool. Understanding the value of strong testing and attention to detail while staying open minded and willing to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
- working product that we are continuously developing
- backend runs on AWS EC2s, we have CI/CD that deploys new versions automatically
- databases are mostly AWS RDS running postgresql, we have a couple of
- ElasticSearch
- various redis, S3 buckets, etc. on AWS
- gitlab and netlify for CI/CD, netlify used to deploy and host static sites (frontend SPAs, etc.)
