QA Automation Engineer (offline)

Required skills

1. A minimum of 3 years in QA, and at least 1 year of experience in UI automation.
2. Experience with at least one of the following frameworks:
— iOS UI test automation using XCTest
— Android UI test automation using Espresso or UI Automator
— Electron UI test automation using Spectron.
3. Practical Ui/Ux testing experience is a must.
4. Decent knowledge of testing methodologies and test planning techniques.
5. Experience with test documentation.
6. Experience with Azure/Jira/Testrail or similar.
7. Intermediate English.
8. Nice to have: Familiarity with mobile testing or familiarity with iOS/macOS or familiarity with Android.


Responsibilities

1. Executing manual test coverage with UI automation.
2. Creating test plans and test suits for UI Test according to sprint goals.
3. Creating UI autotests that cover new features using XCTest and Spectron frameworks.
4. Ensuring a smooth CI/CD process in close cooperation with the engineering team.
5. Maintaining test stability.
6. Coaching and mentoring QA team members with regard to writing UI tests.
7. Reviewing other team members’ pull requests and making comments as a part of training.
8. Estimating and delivering the required testing within a two-week sprint cycle.
