Senior Backend Engineer (offline)

Must have:
• Git version control system, branching workflows;
• Experience with Node.js / npm;
• In-depth knowledge of document-oriented databases (MongoDB/RethinkDB);
• Knowledge of GraphQL;
• Knowledge of Promises, Async/Await;
• Knowledge of Linux;
• Thorough experience of RESTful service design, API design, and best practices for building resilient and maintainable distributed systems;
• Analytical thinking skills;
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose;
• Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Vue);
• Use of Continuous Integration, Github;

Bonus points:
• AWS;
• Knowledge ES6+;
• Knowledge of Docker/Dokku;
• Experience with distributed systems, implementation of microservices and systems with a high degree of parallelism;
• Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum / Kanban);

Responsibilities:
• Developing and maintaining Kitcast platform;
• Creating new services and systems in the existing infrastructure.
