DevOps Engineer (offline)

What you’ll be doing
- Partnering with engineering and product stakeholders to address needs
- Managing existing infrastructure
- Upgrading and improving overall architecture for scale and security
- Responding to and addressing issues in production
- Maintaining and documenting architecture in code (e.g. Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Helping establish best-practices for existing and new infrastructure
- Assisting with security risk assessments and solutions
- Helping engineering with deployments and operations
- Measuring and monitoring application and infrastructure performance and availability

Required skills:
- 4+ years of experience working with high traffic applications
- Hands-on AWS experience (ALB, ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Route53, etc)
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
- Experience with APMs and logging (e.g. Sentry, DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki)
- Good understanding of scripting languages (e.g. bash, Python)
- Solid understanding of Linux administration and networking
- Experience working with Nginx and Apache
- Experience with microservice architectures using Docker and serverless
- Prior experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g. BitBucket Pipelines)
- Experience working with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Understanding of best-practices to secure cloud infrastructure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: able to interact with 3rd party support
- Highly organized and responsive
- Upper-Intermediate English

As a plus
- Experience working with data protection requirements (e.g. ISO, GDPR, SOC2)
