Senior Java Developer (offline)

Description:

We are working with the leading US-based manufacturer of medical devices and related apps. The product includes Web and mobile applications which help to extend the life and alleviate pain of thousands of patients. The applications help the patients to collect data about their health conditions (manually and from the implants) on a daily basis and the therapists to evaluate the dynamics of the chosen treatment and adjust it based on the collected data.

The project includes Web applications, Mobile applications, QA automated tests.

The following technologies are used in the project: Java 11, Spring Boot 2, Angular 7, Groovy/Spock, Jenkins, AWS, Docker/Docker Compose, Gradle.

Requirements:

· 4+ years of relevant experience in developing Java applications;
· Java 8+;
· Spring Boot;
· Gradle;
· MySQL;
· JPA;
· Hibernate;
· SOLID OOP;
· Git,


Will be a plus:

· Familiarity with Angular 2+
· Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
· Familiarity with web-based application security
· Proficiency with web application servers: Tomcat
· Familiarity with Groovy and Spock Framework
· Familiarity with Jenkins

Responsibilities:

· Work on software design on all stages
· Collaborate with a distributed team
· Analyse and implement software requirements
· Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
· Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
· Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
· Support QA Automation team with test automation when required
