DevOps Engineer (offline) $4000-5000

You will play a significant part in an innovative, high-performance R&D team that is committed to delivering an application using cutting edge technologies in a dynamic and agile environment.

Job Responsibilities:

- Taking responsibility for all DevOps activity and ensuring the availability and reliability of our service;
- Programming application automation and developer tools to allow for smooth and effective day-to-day activity;
- Collaborating with software engineers to optimize application performance, reliability, failover, and scale;
- Maintaining the responsibility for the application lifecycle management - CI/CD pipelines, releases and hotfixes;
- Monitoring and maintaining large production systems, allowing for the customers to navigate the system with agility.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of meaningful industry experience;
- Experience working with AWS;
- Experience with Docker, including operating an orchestrator (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm or Amazon ECS);
- Experience with Jenkins pipelines;
- Experience with Linux system administration;
- Experience with managing NoSQL Databases and large clusters (HDFS, Apache Spark, Elastic);
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible;
- Programming experience in Python/Java.

Skills:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service;
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Process-oriented with great documentation skills;
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service;
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
