Middle/Senior Java Developer (offline)

The platform will cover the study specialists' specific needs for communication, training, and knowledge sharing and integrate it with the company's current services.

Our client is a US company that focuses on empowering clinical trial organizations with robust software solutions for seamless management and monitoring of all study-related stages. The client has a wide range of different projects with approximately 80 team members on the development side.

The tech stack of the project includes Java 11, Spring Boot, Liquibase, the OpenAPI Specification, Jitsi Meet, Angular 10, Docker, AWS as hosting (ECS, RDS, etc.), integration with AWS services, such as SQS, SNS, Elasticsearch, and so on.

Responsibilities:

- Development of new features on top of the platform
- Collaboration with other team members on development and deployment
- Communication with a client
- REST APIs development
- Unit tests implementation
- Integration tests implementation
- Database design
- Attending Scrum calls

Required skills:

- At least 2 years of commercial experience in Java development
- In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Design/Programming (Java 11)
- Strong expertise in Spring stack (Boot, Web, Security)
- Strong knowledge of Microservice Architecture
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL
- Practical experience with Hibernate/JPA
- Strong communication skills
- English level — Intermediate and higher

Nice to have:

- Experience with the OpenAPI Specification
- Knowledge of common Amazon Web Services
- Experience with Docker, Swagger, Liquibase, JaCoCo
