Senior R&D Manager (offline)

Responsibilities

— Lead the development end to end from planning to production

— Translate product requirements to development plans, top-down, from architectural level to development tasks

— Be the authority of the selection and implementation of all development support systems, including managed hosting, application performance monitoring

— Manage & Control continuous deployment

— Plan and monitor the execution of software deliveries according to the product requirements and delivery deadlines.

— Be responsible of the architecture of our entire ecosystem, including 3 cloud apps external tools

— Manage changes in program scope, proactively seek and identify potential risks and define contingency plans as needed.

— Manage a group of remote teams including recruitment, mentoring, time management

Requirements

— 8+ years of proven experience as an R&D manager, at least 3+ years with remote teams in Eastern Europe

— Proficiency in MEAN stack, able to work hands on and perform code review.

— Proven experience in planning and executing program plans with multiple remote teams

— Strong knowledge of serverless architectural principles, coding standards, design patterns (especially MEAN) and Agile development methodologies

— Experience with building and running highly available and scalable services using Cloud and open source technologies.

— Deep understanding in new technologies, stability and growth systems

— Exceptional management and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and collaborate
