Middle Java developer (offline)

WE ARE
Our client is one of the world’s well-known IT-companies, with a portfolio of tools used widely in IT industry. It is a multinational company with development offices across the world. At this moment, SoftServe team is working on nearly 20 different subprojects/products for this client. Our customer is a technically mature company with huge expertise and innovative approach, widely using new technologies existing on the market (big data, analytics etc.

Our team in charge of developing and maintaining 3 products, while being focused on the last one which is being built from the scratch right now. This training application aimed to replace the existing app, remove dependency on vendor LMS system, and get more flexibility and provide more value for customers. The purpose of the app is to provide trainings directly in Jira and Confluence and give users the opportunity to use a library of short, interactive tutorials

General technology stack:
Back end: Java 11, Maven, Spring, Boot, MVC (REST), REST template
Front end: ES 6+ (Babel), React, Redux, Webpack.
Configuration tools: Gulp, Mocha, JUnit 4+, Mockito, Postgres, Docker, CI (Bamboo).
Testing tools: Automated tests, Selenium WebDriver, Maven, JUnit 5, Performance testing, Gatling (Scala).

YOU ARE
- Having at least 2-year Java experience
- Proficient in Java 8 or 11, Spring, and Hibernate
- Positive in mind with high motivation and willingness to work on a long-term project
- A team player
- Demonstrating Intermediate+ English level

Nice to have experience includes:
- Experience working with CI/CD
