Head of Payments (offline)

Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of industry leading payment partnerships
- Identify & develop relationships with key solution partners (acquiring and treasury)
- Identify and develop new offerings to collaborate with our partners to drive industry leadership and new business opportunities
- Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal teams (including risk, compliance, product, finance) on maintain and improve the partnership
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements
- Monitor acceptance/decline rates and manage cascading system
- Identify countries specific payments setup
- Optimise money flow to minimise costs (FX, fees, etc) and maximise acceptance rates

Requirements:
- Relevant work experience in the financial services industry - you need to know people and companies
- Good understanding the needs of payments infrastructure for high-risk businesses - 6051 and 6012 should ring the bell
- Exceptional communication skills - you’ll negotiate a lot including with C-Level
- Ability to manage many different stakeholders with, at times, competing priorities - you’ll need to coordinate complex cascading systems for multiple legal entities
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Fluency in English – a must. Other languages, would also be an advantage
