De Novo is striving to enter new market segments and is preparing to open a new type of cloud service - DevOps Cloud, designed to serve software developers and modern applications of the CNA class (Cloud Native Applications).
We are looking for a new business leader who can meet our ambitious goal.
Applied skills requirements
• 5+ years of experience in leading DevOps/cloud administration in high load production systems
• Strong knowledge of best DevOps practices and methodologies
• Solid understanding of networking, auto-scaling architectures (Kubernetes, etc.), serverless architectures
• Experience in using PaaS platforms from AWS, GCP, MS Azure, understanding of the operation principles of the main services from these providers
• Knowledge in area of automation builds and tests, micro-services design
• Understanding how to set up and manage a cloud-based CI/CD pipeline
• Good understanding Infrastructure as Code concepts, knowledge of IaaC tools like Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation
Business skills requirements
• Ambition and desire to move from the level of an experienced technical specialist to the level of a business leader
• Ability to think strategically, transforming technologies into new added value for the customer
• Ability to recognize business requirements and to transform them into new products and services
• Basic or intermediate level of financial knowledge about budgeting, price building, business models creations
• Deep understanding of Software development business and companies – internal structure, specific needs and requirements to Cloud-based services at PaaS level
• Level of English: Upper-Intermediate

• Good communication skills both within the team and in the external environment
Tasks and responsibilities
• Set up and develop Go-To-Market and technical strategy for PaaS Cloud as a new business line of De Novo Cloud Services Portfolio
• Creation and further development of a team of professionals and like-minded people, leadership qualities
• Cloud service pricing policy management
• Formation and management of the budget of the business line
• Creation and implementation of an operating model for cloud service production and customer support
• Service lifecycle management, R&D program for business development tasks
• Support for marketing and sales teams
