Ruby on Rails Automation Developer (offline) $3000-6000
Shastic is building the next generation of end-to-end sales automation to shorten the loan processing cycle for banks using AI-Driven Process Automation and Text Messaging.
We are currently working with close to 30 U.S. banks. Over the last 24 months our client base has grown 100% every year and we expect to double it by the end of 2021.
What makes us different is that we’ve bootstrapped and grown this fast without burning any money. Capital-efficient growth is atypical these days.
We are looking for Ruby on Rails developers with 4+ years of experience testing complex applications using RSpec to help us continue building and shaping the direction of our platform as we expand.
We make extensive use of AWS, Docker, Serverless Computing, Ruby on Rails, Javascript (Vue), MySQL, Python and Machine Learning within our infrastructure. We use tools like CodeBuild and CodePipeline to streamline and automate deployments and CloudWatch to see what’s going on under the hood.
WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU’LL:
Learn about our loan processing as you work to complete minor features across multiple Ruby microservices to help you learn our infrastructure as well as our business domain.
WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Work with the team to build and ship 2 new integrations into third-party loan origination platforms in the U.S. as part of our Chimera Integration Engine that can sync with any app, file or online platform without the need for a third-party API.
WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Work with the team to build and ship a revolutionary end-to-end service to collect loan documents automatically.
- Use our ChimeraIntegration Engine to hook up this new automatic document collection service with the top 5 loan origination platforms in the U.S..
- Collaborate with our management team to plan our Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the next phase of our platform’s evolution.
We are a high-speed, high-stamina team. To be successful in our team, you have to be comfortable with over-communicating, since our entire team is remote.
We expect everyone at Shastic to be very responsive so that we can stay aligned across teams at all times and be able to work efficiently in a remote environment across different time zones.
Attention to detail is a must to succeed in our team as oftentimes the risks involved in our daily tasks can have legal and financial implications if mishandled.
We value well written, refactorized tests that create repeatable, predictable behavior above all due to the high stakes involved in working with U.S. banks and regulated financial institutions. This person will work closely under the CEO.
