As a part of our QA Team, you will contribute to GeoComply success by developing automated tests on Python 3 and Robot Framework and reporting on the quality assurance of our software to ensure applications are functional and provide a great user experience for all of our customers in the PLC/GDK team.
Team: Product Manager, R&D Solutions Architect, QA Lead, QA Automation, QA Automation (Middle/Senior), 5 Software Engineers (C++ )
Technologies and tools that we use: Python 2-3, Robot Framework, Bash, CI/CD, Jenkins; Confluence (for test plans), Test Rail (for test cases)
Your key responsibilities and accountabilities include (but not limited to):
✔ Automation of regression testing and load testing of existing products;
✔ Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to determine quality assurance parameters;
✔ Create and maintain test cases and test suites based on product requirements and test plans;
✔ Create and maintain RobotFramework tests;
✔ Refactor and improve existing test framework;
✔ Create and support CI/CD pipeline;
✔ Perform QA related activities for release;
✔ Take initiative to identify issues and escalate accordingly.
What skills will you need for this?
✔ Experience with Python and Bash scripting languages;
✔ 3-5 years of experience of writing automated tests using any xUnit framework (pytest, Unittest);
✔ Knowledge of RobotFramework or any BDD framework (will be a plus);
✔ Experience with continuous integration/delivery processes (Jenkins);
✔ Experience using version control systems such as Git;
✔ Experience with macOS and Windows from a desktop application testing perspective;
✔ Knowledge of different communication protocols (WebSocket, HTTPS, etc);
✔ Experience with networking tools such as fiddler, WireShark, etc (will be a plus);
✔ Advanced knowledge of theory and best practices of software testing;
✔ Intermediate written and spoken technical English enough to discuss issues with teams remotely.
