Senior Software Engineer (offline)

Required skills
- Possess 5+ years of practical experience in programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, VB)
- Excellent SQL, PL/SQL and Database know how (e.g. Oracle)
- Very good knowledge of Unix and Scripting Languages
- Experience in integration and middleware technologies (e.g. Tuxedo, WebSphere Message Broker, MQ)
- Very good experience with Eclipse and Jira
- Experience with SCRUM is an advantage
- Good knowledge of software design and requirements management methods
- Drives for results
- Ability to organize her/himself
- Very good command of English

Responsibilities
- Development and presentation of prototypes to users
- Implementation of applications, interfaces and scripts
- Implementation of unit tests to ensure proper software quality
- Identification and fixing of software defects
- Writes technical documentation
- 2nd Level support for software applications
- Contributes to knowledge repository
- Is part of an Agile/Scrum delivery team
- Generates detailed software design based on business requirements
