DevOps Team Lead (offline)

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the team of engineers in your time zone, to take full ownership of our production infrastructure and procedures
- Create and maintain frameworks, systems & procedures to understand, control, manipulate, and scale all aspects of all our production environment infrastructure;
- Identify and automate repetitive work
- Build close relationships with the Software and Security Engineering teams, understanding the product requirements, so that we can scale the production environment quickly and efficiently
- Report on team metrics
- Planning, goal setting, and tracking for team and individuals on the team
- Prioritizing project work to align with Company goals
- Participate in the on call rotation
- Exceed customer expectations

Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a team leadership role, preferably an SRE (or similar) team
- 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer/SRE, preferably in a cloud environment
- Demonstrable experience working in large, complex infrastructures
- Experience in a fast-moving, high growth environment
- Able to fly by the seat of your pants
- Detail-oriented but able to see the big picture as well
- Program or project management experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience coding in Python or Go, or other programming languages
