Node.JS Engineer #8674 (offline)

Our customer takes the leading position in advanced consulting and engineering expertise. We are planning to develop a solution, which speeds up of implementation of data science solutions and simplifies data aggregation and orchestration for other sub teams. We are seeking a Team Leader with strong JavaScript backend skillset who will be involved in building microservice architecture from scratch.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver high quality content
Perform implementation, review and debugging of new content
Support of current solution and new functionality in long term perspective
Analyze and estimate implementation efforts
Report to supervisor about ongoing tasks status, technical and other risks

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE:
Commercial backend development experience 3+ years
Commercial experience with node.js at least 2 years
Good understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Strong understanding of weak and strong parts of node.js platform
Strong TypeScript knowledge
Modern design patterns
Strong understanding of object-oriented development approach
Solid understanding of REST architecture, microservices architecture, common patterns
Experience with databases interactions
Experience with containerization approach such as Docker
Experience with debugging, profiling and optimization
Experience with CI/CD and related tools like Kubernetes
Unit testing experience
Full application lifecycle experience
Good communication and collaboration skills
Fast research and learning skills
