Project Description:
Our client is a leading global Financial Market data provider who runs several change programs to deliver high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high frequency, and low-latency data management chain. The projects are technically challenging in a very engaging environment making the most of cutting-edge technologies covering the domains of Real-Time, Big Data, Cloud, and Machine Learning.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor 10+ size QA team
β’ Build and drive QA processes for 6-9 scrum teams
β’ Be responsible for cross-functional test preparation and execution as well as end-to-end production readiness verification
β’ Elaborate test strategy, overall test approach and test plans with the different functions and across different teams
β’ Helps the different units to identify testing needs (within functions, cross-functional)
β’ Create and maintain CI/CD infrastructure
β’ Reviews resource allocation of the different units involved and assures timely availability of test environments
β’ Coordinates all testing activities (IT integration testing, user acceptance testing)
β’ Tracks execution of testing against plan and supports triage of defects and issues
β’ Manages issues related to data quality and availability (resources, environments) and escalates to program management if needed
β’ Reports progress to program management and other stakeholders on a regular basis
Mandatory Skills Description:
β’ Experienced, Test Manger certification will be a plus
β’ 3+ years of QA Team leadership experience
β’ 3+ years of test automation or other software development experience
β’ 5+ years of software testing experience
β’ Proven relevant commercial experience in system test automation
β’ Extensive experience in writing test in scripting
β’ Experience with version control systems such as Git
β’ Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test documentation (Strategy, Plan, Roadmap)
β’ Experience in automation framework creation, maintenance, and expansion
β’ Good understanding of Agile development environment
β’ Experience in working with remote and distributed teams is required
β’ Excellent presentation skills and interaction with internal/external customers
β’ Shows personal commitment, strong team player and able to work in a collaborative environment
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, able to think logically and abstractly: recognizes discrepancies, connections and structures
β’ Strong management skills including leading successful teams, maintaining schedules, dealing with resource constraints, personnel development
Nice-to-Have Skills:β’ Experience in Financial Services or IB.
