PHP Backend Developer (offline)

You will work with one of our project teams on large, digital, and/or eCommerce systems, using OOP PHP, MySQL, Docker, REST / SOAP, Shopware, or Spryker Commerce OS. We expect and encourage you to contribute according to your experience and your personal strengths. Nothing is set in stone, bring your ideas and, together, let’s test them out!

Responsibilities:
Work as a PHP developer in an agile team on new and further development of mainly large, digital, and/or eCommerce systems
Perform object-oriented development in PHP7 with MySQL, Docker, REST / SOAP using Shopware and Spryker Commerce OS systems
Actively support your team’s coding conventions and quality
Conduct auto-testing, using service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, and other current PHP innovations
In team and project meetings, present your ideas and suggestions, always in service of improving team performance
Develop yourself continuously, with our support, embracing the challenges presented by our demanding projects

What we’re looking for:
2+ years of experience with OOP PHP
Experience working with PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel)
Knowledge of MySQL, Docker, REST / SOAP
Upper-intermediate level English
You’re an active and curious student of cutting-edge development processes, including continuous integration, SOLID, SOA, or TDD

Bonus:
Experience and interest in working with Shopware or Spryker Commerce OS
You can name at least five dishes – besides borsch – made with beetroot.
