Middle Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation) Offline
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team working on development of an AWS-based distributed data-pipeline in a project of modernization of client’s Data Warehousing
The requirements for this position are the following:
Quality assurance experience in a data-oriented environment, including direct hands-on experience with ad-hoc query programs, automated testing tools, and reporting software
Ability to develop test design for a cloud-based data-related pipeline that covers data streaming, ETL, and data warehousing phases, as well as phase of data BI anaytics presentation at a Tableau dashboard
Ability to automate testing of the data solution, both for a specific phase, as well as end-to-end
Experience with test automation in a modern programming language (Python, Java, Scala, C#, etc.), Java is a preferable language
Experience with performance testing using jMeter
Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL, including ability to write queries to validate data accuracy and quality. MSSQL experience is preferable
Ability to work in a small mixed-skill team responsible for data-pipeline development and testing
Working with Agile methodology
Good spoken and written English
Will be a plus:
Experience with AWS services
Experience with Apache Kafka
Zephyr
Tableau
Preferences:
QA Performance, Confluent Kafka, AWS, AWS Kinesis
Responsibilities:
Develop & Execute Test Cases and document results for data-oriented solutions
Develop automated test scripts within QA framework
Participate in work planning including calculation of testing estimates
Enforcement of quality assurance processes, measures and testing standards, providing QA expertise and support to developers
