Data Engineer (offline)

Requirements:

- 4+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA - Deep understanding of MSSQL performance tuning techniques for relational databases
- 4+ years of hands-on experience working with SQL, MySQL
- 2+ years of experience as an MSSQL Infrastructure DBA
- Understanding of Big Data technologies and solutions
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and loves challenges
- Able to work independently.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work with different DBs storing terabytes of data
- Working with queries, aggregations, reports
- Performing upgrades of the database and software to new release levels
- Starting up and shutting down the database
- Managing the database's storage structures
- Managing schema objects, such as tables, indexes, and views
- Making database backups and performing recovery when necessary
- Proactively monitoring the database's health and taking preventive or corrective action as required
- Monitoring and tuning performance.
