Business Analyst (offline)

Project: the company providing tailored financial services to the Canadian marketplace for more than 35 years.

Experience:
• 5+ years of experience providing business analysis expertise related to mobile application development in the banking industry
• 5+ years of experience using coverage analysis techniques to ensure appropriate relationship between scope, detailed requirements, and testing through to implementation.
• Customer facing experience (all levels)
• Experience working in Fintech and/or Paytech environments desirable
• Experience working in a start-up environment desirable

Technical skills & education:
• Business process mapping
• Experience using software such as Ms Office, JIRA, Confluence, Slack or similar
• Experience working with Product Managers and Development Teams
• Post secondary education – required

Responsibilities:
• Works with the product team, internal, and external stakeholders to understand, gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and synthesize findings into business/functional requirements and design documents in an Agile environment;
• Manages risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicates to appropriate stakeholders and partners.
• Facilitates collaborative sessions with diverse business and technology stakeholder groups to drive both business and systems requirements discovery, analysis, and review.
• Identifies business challenges and opportunities for improvement and provide resolution through analysis to make strategic and/or tactical recommendations.
• Creates repository of requirements documentation reusable for future initiatives, following the organization’s standards.
