Senior Business Analyst (offline)

Our client is a US-based financial startup. Together, we are developing an innovative business platform for capital market professionals.

Technologies:
The platform utilizes the trust of distributed ledger technology. Smart contracts are implemented in Ethereum (Solidity) and Tezos (LIGO). Application: Node.js (TypeScript), Angular 7+. Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Docker-compose, TeamCity.


Role description:

• Become the main point of communication with product stakeholders in terms of requirements and product functionality
• Elicit, analyze and convert business problems into feature requirements; present requirements to the team
• Assist stakeholders in priorities management for the features; engage changes requested by them
• Visualize workflows of the developed solution by means of Use Case and Activity diagrams (UML) or Process and Collaboration models (BPMN)
• Prepare UI wireframes and/or prototypes, assist designers in designing UI and UX
• Deliver a presentation on the implemented solution to the customer

Required skills:
• 3+ years of work experience as a BA
• Expertise in fintech (or the goal to become an expert in one)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple words
• Good theoretical and practical knowledge of BA methodology and tools (Story Map, Jira, Confluence)
• Experience with bug tracking, collaboration and modeling tools
• Advanced English skills (both written and spoken)
• Experience of creating product/feature roadmap

Desired skills:
• Expertise in blockchain
• Experience of requirement preparation for 3rd-party integrations
• Technical background: understanding of SDLC, Git flow, infrastructure, data storage, and API communication principles
