Senior Magento Backend developer (offline)

Client and project details:
• United Kingdom, long-term
• Continuously growing digital agency focusing on full-cycle Ecommerce solutions development (including UX/UI, SEO and BI services)
• Adobe Solution Partner with a team of over 30 highly effective fully functional distributed cross-project team (In-house PM/QA/FE)
• New Magento project/feature development pipeline (~75%) and the technical support of the existing project portfolio (~25%)
• Technologies and platforms: Magento 2 Commerce, Commerce Cloud and Open Source, GraphQL/PWA
• Toolset and environments: Bitbucket CI/CD pipeline, • Staging/Review/Production env; Jira, Teamwork, Harvest Forecast

Position requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience with Magento backend development
• At least 2,5 years of experience with Magento 2 (including building Magento extensions)
• Solid knowledge of the Magento API
• Solid knowledge of PHP7, MySQL, JavaScript
• Solid knowledge of Magento Coding Standards, OOP, Design patterns
• Knowledge of Git, Composer
• Experience with Docker, Linux (Ubuntu)
• Understanding of eCommerce (and related business processes on Magento platform)
• Intermediate level of English or higher

Will be a plus:
• Magento 2 certification
• Magento Frontend skills
• Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests

Candidate responsibilities:
• Custom feature/module development
• Magento extension development, setup and configuration
• Creating custom Magento GraphQL endpoints for Magento PWA Studio projects
• Ecommerce data import/export and/or platform migration
• New webstore setup
• Integration of Magento with external systems (ERP, PIM, payment gateways, etc.)
• Magento basic and advanced configuration
• Magento platform version upgrade
• Magento performance profiling and tuning, issue analysis and resolution
