Senior QA Engineer (offline)

N-iX is looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer who can become a part of our team and contribute new ideas into product development.
Our client is the leading UK Digital challenger to banks. They’ve spent the past 12 years building banking services that are fast, smart and simple to challenge with the High Street banks. Services that strive to ensure business and personal customers aren’t slowed down, but propelled forward. From introducing the first UK prepaid card in 2005, to being the first non-bank to offer a current account, they’ve been ahead of the curve for as long as we’ve been around.

Responsibilities:
• Requirements analysis and clarification
• Development and maintenance of Test Cases
• Performing different types of testing: functional, compatibility, performance, load, regression
• Testing web applications
• API testing
• Bug reporting and tracking

Requirements:
• 3+ years of enterprise software product quality assurance experience
• Good spoken and written Upper-Intermediate knowledge of English
• ISTQB certification
• Experience in performance testing (using JMeter)
• Demonstrable experience of creating test cases
• Experience in Agile development and Scrum framework
• Knowledge of defect Management/tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
• SQL query knowledge for back end data validation
• Experience in API testing (using Postman)

Would be a plus:
• Experience in security testing, penetration testing
• Knowledge of Automation testing (approaches, when to apply etc)
• Knowledge of writing automated tests
• Basic knowledge of C# or Java
• Knowledge of payment schemes and processing (e.g. Faster Payments, Swift, Direct Debit, CASS, SEPA)
