This position is related to Ad Tech engine development and enhancements that is used on top news portals and products.

Beginning as a niche news agency in an obscure Wall Street basement, the client has grown to be a worldwide news and information powerhouse, with prestigious brands including The Wall Street Journal, Factiva, Barron’s, MarketWatch and Financial News.
This position is related to Ad Tech BU engine development and enhancements that is used on top news portals and products (wsj.com, barrons.com, etc.).
Work with well-known company. For this role, you will be a member of a cross-functional AdTech team focused on advertisement and consent management solutions (GDPR and CCPA on web), helping to deliver world class engineering practices and innovative products across Wall Street Journal and other client`s products.
You'll have to work with client complex infrastructure and tech landscape, work on re-architecture and performance optimization of advertisement and privacy tech stack, integration of 3rd party products and services like Google, Amazon, Sourcepoint, publisher data platform Pertmutive built on edge computing, develop monitoring tools or in-house solutions, collaborate with dozens of engineers working on the same codebase and proactively contribute to teams activities in agile environment on the daily basis.
Customer has their own tools and frameworks built on top of Node, React, vanilla JS, mustache, express, webpack, AWS, etc.
More often - JS work on front end + some backend and not much pure UI feature development.
Team is a mix of EPAM and customer engineers. Daily direct communication with customer. 90% in English.
Agile environment. Tech manager/lead/architect on the customer side is heavily focused on Agile, prefers to follow best practices, guidelines and processes, as well as solid engineering decisions over timelines.
Must be a comfortable place to work, rear situations of pressure, failed deadlines and late work for engineers.
Good people and team overall. Respect and value the individuals.
Work in active environment, weekly sprints.

Solid background in web development is a must (HTML5, CSS3, JSON, etc.), including hands-on experience with at least one of modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Node.js
Nice to have experience with Redux, Redis, Jenkins, Docker, AWS or other cloud or container-based application deployment
Proven understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including web development, service-oriented architecture, cloud computing, test driven development, CI/CD
