Senior QA Engineer (Manual / Automation) (offline)

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• 4+ years of experience with manual testing
• 0.5+ years of experience with automation testing (using Java)
• Upper-Intermediate English
• Excellent SQL knowledge. Ability to write complex SQL queries. Compare result sets.
• Good knowledge of unix based operational systems
• Good knowledge in API testing
• Knowledge of Java basics and OOP
• Capable of manual testing and has an eye to catch defects from cosmetic to complex nature
• Support in test execution planning and reporting
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail

Soft Skills:

• Quick learning capability of environment and new tools
• Enthusiastic to learn new tools and technologies
• Think creative, smart and come up with new ideas to improvise the testing process
• Adapt to changing environment and system requirements
• Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of distributed systems architecture
• Experience working in Agile environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Senior QA Engineer (80% manual / 20% automated testing)

QA Test Engineer will be responsible for the several activities of software testing — analyzing requirements, writing test cases, execution of test cases, development of automation scripts for API and db, analyzing and comparing data in multiple databases. Person should be capable of keeping up with aggressive timelines and close follow up on the issues and attention to the details.
