Sr Python Developer (Munich) (offline) $6000-7000

Duties :
• Actively driving and implementing technical concepts for the feature set of our SaaS battery analytics platform for ingesting battery field data, calculating & predicting battery conditions and presenting it at large scale
• Breaking down difficult challenges and successfully delivering customer value on schedule
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on designing, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, debugging, and optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability - You build it, you run it!
• Closely collaborating in a cross-functional team of Frontend, DevOps, Cloud Engineers, Battery/Machine Learning Engineers, Product Manager & UX Designer to jointly develop & deliver the best possible products to our customers
• Providing servant leadership to the software team from being a sparring partner on topics, as well as providing mentorship including industry standard code reviews for personal development of the Software Engineers


Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience of backend software engineering in the field of building applications and microservices in Python (any additional high-level programming language is a plus)
• 3+ years of leadership experience in cross-functional teams
• Solid programming background and ability to write clean, structured and tested code
• Proven track of records in designing/architecting and scaling high load data platforms (you know where and why to put a message queue, which database to choose, where to put borders between microservices)
• Support and guide the team to ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed per the sprint goal, while also actively participating in coding, you are not only a “ticket writer + work assignment manager”, but an Agile Team Member
• You are a strong self-driven leader, you aren’t afraid talking to stakeholders and teammates, come up with balanced and reasonable proposals together with the Team and continuously improve development processes & mentoring of your colleagues.
• Fluent in English
• Interest in new Technologies & building a great Saas Platform

Additional Skills that are nice to have
• TypeScript
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Having concretely worked in the area of SaaS / Analytics / Data Platforms
• Finding your way around the “terminal”
