We are looking for a Sr. Back-End (Python) Engineer to help us develop strategic new software modules and critical customer-requested enhancements. Our product and engineering team is currently ~30 strong (and growing). We use a modern technology stack, including:
- Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Back-end: Python, Django, PostgreSQL
- Front-end: JavaScript, React, Typescript
- Devops: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Monitoring: Kibana, Sentry, LogRocket, Pagerduty, Prometheus, Grafana
- Custom reporting: Jaspersoft Studio
- Communication & design: JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Figma
We are looking for:
- 5+ years of Python development experience (using Django/Celery is a big advantage)
- Knowledge of SQL, database design, and optimization (PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of HTTP stack and REST API principles. Experience designing, building, and maintaining API.
- Understanding of fundamental design patterns and principles
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, TDD
- DevOps / AWS / Docker / Kubernetes experience i s a plus

Company: the company is 4 years old, we are now profitable and are continuing to grow, i.e., do not need any outside financing at this point. At about 40 people right now (we have a number of people in sales). Planning to double revenue this year. In addition to our core product (described in the job description), we have several new projects/initiatives for this year.
