Required skills
At least 2 years as a Customer Support Engineer (L2)
Experience with AWS
Experience with Linux
Experience with RabbitMQ
Intermediate strong level of English
Responsibilities
Daily: Team Standup; monitor Datadog dashboards, monitors and logs, Slack channel events; react to incidents and work on assigned tasks (automatically triggered by service state in Jira or manually assigned by Team Lead).
Weekly: weekly 24/7 PagerDuty Schedule (person/month); review AWS infrastructure services logs and troubleshoot their state (SFTP, S3, EC2 Linux and Windows instances, ASGs, Lambda functions), communicate with DevOps Engineer.
Monthly: update Confluence Documentation; adjust/create new monitors in Datadog, schedule maintenance windows for improvements; create/participate in Knowledge sharing sessions; review RabbitMQ, Consul, CouchDB and Datadog agents' state; review, test and improve CloudFormation templates.
Seldom: Investigate Failed Octopus Deployment process.
