Business Data Analyst (Genesis R&D) (offline)

Growth Team focuses on finding new substantial growth levers for the projects within Genesis ecosystem through rapid, data-informed experimentation. Together with C level executives they identify new business opportunities and create MVPs to test hypotheses bringing together marketing, product, engineering and analytical expertise.

Bogdan Govorun – Head of Growth at Genesis R&D. Bogdan joined Genesis in 2020 after working at McKinsey&Company and oversees the traction of our 20+ R&D web and mobile products with the latter achieving 30+ million downloads annually.

Bogdan and his team are always looking for optimistic, proactive candidates who would not only possess substantial field expertise but would also empower the growth team with a relentless drive to turn ideas into actionable hypotheses and then into working business solutions.

Now we are looking for Business Data Analyst who will increase capitalization of businesses at early stage through:
· Unification of standards in product analytics across 10+ businesses;
· Creation of centralised core solutions to be used in existing and new businesses;
· Development of analytics community;
· Identification and verification of new growth levers at business unit level.

Responsibilities:
· Management of standards creation and knowledge sharing across Genesis R&D platform;
· End-to-end delivery of centralized core solutions for existing and new businesses;
· Support in development of analytical solutions for particular mobile and web products;
· Hypothesis generation to create, scale and optimize business growth levers across a wide product range;
· Planning, coordination and analysis of marketing and product A/B tests.

About you:
· Technical background;
· 2+ years of work experience with at least 1 year in a capacity of data analyst in product IT, telecom or finance;
· Extensive experience in Python, SQL and Excel usage for work/study related problem solving;
· Knowledge of Pandas and visualisation libraries;
· Experience with REST API;
· Excel Proficiency;
· Conceptual understanding of DWH architecture;
· Confident application of basic statistical and probability theory concepts (in scope given for math majors);
· Solid knowledge of key product metrics for mobile applications (both gaming and non-gaming);
· Full English fluency.
