Responsibilities
Hire, mentor, and manage engineers on our engineering team with diverse tech skills
Getting our cross-team engineering efforts humming through proper planning, organizing, and communication
Lead architecture sessions to help the team build flexible, decoupled, and scalable solutions across different tech stacks including, but not limited to Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Java on the backend, React.js for frontend development, Python for Data Science/Machine Learning projects
Evolve team processes (code review, release planning, gathering requirements etc.) to empower engineers with context and autonomy
Being flexible and nimble to accommodate business needs
Being capable of empathizing with our engineers
Setting realistic time estimates and completing them on time
Autonomy: The ability to make, own, and carry out decisions. The ability to determine what processes and best practices are most conducive to productivity, transparency, and coordination
Facilitating career growth for engineers through their professional development
Be willing and able to learn fast
Partner with engineering and people management leadership in Kyiv office to ensure a great working environment and strongly knit engineering culture
