Software Architect-Cloud (offline)

Role:
You will keep abreast of and influence technology trends, standards, and stakeholders which will further enhance adoption and market share of the company`s solutions, and work in tandem with the other members of the executive team. Y

This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to get your hands dirty with code while leading the charge on solving complex challenges.

Requirements:
Own the overall data and data architecture.
Define governance and best practices around meta-data to ensure an integrated definition of data for enterprise information, and to ensure the accuracy, validity, reusability, and consistent definitions for common reference data.
Participate in technical planning requirements gathering phases including design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting big data-oriented software applications.
Architect, design, and build AWS, Azure and Open source framework for ingestion, transformation, improvement, cleaning, and manipulation of data in the business, operational and analytics databases, and troubleshoots any existent issues.
Define reusable components, frameworks, common schemas, standards models to be used.
Keep up with industry trends and best practices, advising senior management on new and improved data engineering strategies that will drive departmental performance leading to improvement in an overall improvement in data governance across the business, promoting informed decision-making, and ultimately improving overall business performance.
Optimizes distributed solutions based on modern big data technologies like Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Elastic Search, Storm, Kafka, etc. in both an on-premise and cloud deployment model to solve large-scale processing problems.
Aligns data architecture processes and projects to an Agile SDLC Achieve an expert level understanding of our applications and environments Support and review complex design initiatives, projects plans.

Qualifications:
At least 12+ years of experience in designing, architecting and implementing large scale data sets data storage data distribution systems.
Advanced experience in AWS Cloud Stack.
Expertise in designing, deploying and optimizing databases in AWS.
Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.
Experience leading offshore teams.
