What You’ll Do

Play an active role in hiring and developing our engineering team, nurturing our engineering values
Provide regular performance feedback, hold one-on-ones, and provide career development support to your direct reports
Help to craft and iterate on our technology to enable the growth and scale of the platform
Collaborate with Product, Data, and Design teams to help define the strategy, roadmap, and support them with technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment of features, products, and systems
Ensure applications are scalable, with well written, clean, and testable code

Who You Are

Demonstrated ability to attract, identify, manage, mentor, and grow top engineering talent
Strong communication, analytical and technical skills, including good verbal and written English
Experience leading an agile team to plan, prioritize, build, and deploy code regularly

What We’re Looking For

5+ years experience in software engineering, at least 3 years managing teams
BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
General engineering skills in any of these languages: PHP, Golang, Python
Knowledge of the datastores like PostGreSQL, Redis
Strong understanding of the Infrastructure: Amazon AWS, Kubernetes
