People management, research management, planning, and execution — every single bar is high and you’ll keep it even higher! Developing people and teams, designing the ways to make complicated technology simple and convenient for customers, managing the balance for both technical writing for whitepapers and getting things done — challenges we have no playbook for.

Responsibilities and Duties
— Support the process of internal Learning and Development, knowledge sharing, and career development programs
— Manage and grow the team, both the team as a whole and each individual,
— Motivate team to deliver exciting features to customers
— Lead the science department with a customer first mindset
— Plan and execute mid-term roadmaps aligned with long-term strategy and mission
— Support and develop the R&D process combining efficient delivery pipeline, PoC tactics, and customer-targeted KPIs and metrics
— Maintain efficient cooperation with data science, delivery, QA, PM, and TPM departments
— Involvement with multiple divisions
Qualifications and Skills
— 7+ years of hands-on experience in AI, ML or CV development
— 4+ years of experience managing teams of 20+ members
— People management experience leading science-oriented teams
— Proven track record of delivering AI, ML or CV solutions at scale, in B2C or B2B markets
— Deep understanding of the balance between pure research and pure delivery approaches
— Advanced written and spoken English
Nice to have
— Experience in building an R&D program in a well-established company
— Experience managing large-scale research projects
— Experience incorporating customer feedback to large programs
