QA Engineer (offline)

What you need to succeed:

• 2+ years in software testing

• Degree in computer science or related field

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes

• Experience in functional and non-functional testing

• Understanding of web applications: JavaScript, AJAX, cookies/sessions, browser differences, web servers, REST APIs

• Ability to install/configure web applications

• Knowledge and experience in REST API testing (Postman or similar)

• Experience working with MS SQL databases

• Understanding of XML data format

• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum)

• Team-player with strong interpersonal skills comfortable working as part of a distributed team

• Ability to learn and tackle new or unfamiliar technologies and methodologies

• Intermediate level of English or higher

Nice to have:

• Experience with performance testing

• Experience with Docker

• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, VMWare

• Experience working with applications with microservices architecture and cloud deployments

What you’ll do:

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test suites with test cases

• Configure test environment (install/configure web applications)

• Perform functional testing in multiple platforms

• Bug reporting and bug tracking

• Achieve goals as part of a Scrum team in order to deliver functionality, enhancements, and fixes

• Build strong working relationships internally by demonstrating the team values in the Agile / Scrum process and collaborating cross-functionally to solve problems

• Be part of a continuous improvement atmosphere, proactively suggesting improvements
