Senior iOS Developer (offline)

Forte Group has an open position for a Senior iOS Developer who will be responsible for a demanding and rewarding variety of duties related to enhancing existing application and working on new functionality utilizing Swift. You should be both independent and an enthusiastic team player, have strong problem solving and analytical skills, and close attention to details.

Project description:

The application is an interactive video-rich communications platform for scheduling telehealth visits and empowering patients in acute and post-acute care settings. As a Senior iOS Developer, you will work on product quality improvement, implement new functionality, and maintain existing application.

Team structure and Workflow:

Forte team is allocated in Kyiv. Team members use Jira to generate backlog and to prioritize items. The team follows Scrum, works in 2-week sprints. Communication mainly consists of daily stand up meetings, planning meetings, retrospective, and interpersonal communication. Team members use Slack and Webex Teams.

iOS frameworks: Webex SDK, Alamofire, Crashlytics, Firebase, SwiftGen
Testing tools: XCTest

Tools: JIRA, Confluence

Responsibilities:

▪ Design and develop mobile application for iOS platform
▪ Analyze requirements, collaborate with team members to produce thoughtful software designs in terms of existing UI/UX
▪ Provide accurate estimates on work items
▪ Maintain coding standards and participate in peer code reviews
▪ Implement Unit testing for robustness, including edge cases and general reliability
▪ Facilitate engineering operation process to ensure high-quality software solutions concerning engineering excellence

Qualifications and Skills:

▪ 5+ years of software development experience
▪ Good knowledge of Swift and UIkit
▪ Familiarity with Websockets and RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
▪ Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines
▪ Experience with Data Driven UI, UniFlow Architecture Patterns (i.e. Redux) is a plus
▪ Hands-on experience with Git
▪ Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
▪ Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
▪ Intermediate English level or higher
