Job description

Brainberry invites Senior JavaScript Developer for long-term cooperation at its service center in Kyiv, Ukraine.
You will have the opportunity to be a part of the extension team of an international IT Consulting Company.
Our Customer is a German software development and IT-consulting company.

Main customers are national and international associations.
Founded in 2002.

About the project: the team is developing high-load websites and services for organizing online congresses for the medical sector.

Team structure: Development team of 3 Backend developers; 3 Front-end developers; 1 QA engineer

The developer should be comfortable delivering proactive results, meaning that he/she should be able to understand the product and deliver solid UX following the Material Design guidelines.

Required skills:
— 2+ year of experience in JavaScript (ES6+);
— 2+ year of experience with ReactJS;
— Experience with testing tools (Jest, Jasmine, ESLint, Karma);
— Understating Component-Based concept;
— HTML5 & CSS3 (PostCSS, SASS / Less);
— Using Build-Tools (Webpack, NPM, Gulp);
— Understanding of the principles of usability (a11y);
— Good spoken and written English.

Be a plus:
— Knowledge of Progressive Enhancement;
— Experience with RESTful APIs;
— Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX);

Responsibilities:
— Following solid design and high-quality implementation practices;
— Development of Internal CRM system and online streaming platform;
— Daily communication with the customer;
— Code review;
— Participating in daily stand up;
— Work in a Scrum environment.
