Lead Unity Developer (GameDev) (offline)

One of the leading Game development company, known worldwide, who has offices in 2 locations in Ukraine more than 10 years. The company charges 100+ professionals in Ukraine.

They are looking for a specialist in the Kiev studio, for interesting and entertaining game development project.

The project: international AAA mobile game project from scratch.

Key words would be: Unity, GameDev, team/tech leading.

Open position: Unity Lead. Location: Kyiv, Ukraine.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with Unity Game development;
At least 1,5-2 years of experience as Team/Tech Lead (team of 5-6 employees is a must);
Extensive experience ​on​ ​Unity mobile development and debugging;
Understanding of multithreaded/parallel programming;
Ability to produce effective software design;
Passion of game development;
Good problem solver skills;
Excellent oral and written English.

Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a programming team;
Planning and realization game functionality;​
Promote knowledge of best coding practices;
Carry out regular code reviews;
Provision products conform to high fabrication standards;
Collaborate with other teams to effectively meet the technical needs of the project;
Identify risks and provide solutions to solve potentially complex problems.
