Strong Middle Java Engineer (offline)

Company is a technology spin-out of Vanderbilt University, delivers cloud-based electronic data capture
(EDC) solution for academic institutions, small to medium biotechnology and medical device companies,
small contract research organizations (CROs), and others engaged in clinical research in life sciences.
The team’s charter is to innovate our existing platform while keeping up with the ever-growing user-
base.

Requirements:
 3+ years of working with Java
 Good experience with Hibernate or other ORMs
 Understanding of JPA
 Understanding of JDBC
 Good knowledge of PostgreSQL
 Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate English
Nice to have:
 Experience with Linux-based OS
 Hands-on experience with ReactJS
 Experience with Jetty Web Server
 Experience writing Unit Tests (preferably with JUnit)
 Understanding of AMQP protocol-based message queues or experience with ActiveMQ
 Experience with Quartz Scheduler
 Experience with Elastic Search
 Experience with GWT
 Experience with Google Guice
 Experience with Apache Shiro
 Experience with Apache Commons
