About the client
Our client is an international pioneer for digital innovations in the financial industry and the Swiss market leader in banking business intelligence. With many years of expertise in the field of data science, we generate valuable insights out of data - for your successful digital transformation.


Your Tasks
- Conceptual development of our Analytics Core Services as well as technological-process-related implementation
- Design and implementation of robust data structures and automated scalable data pipelines
- Support of our software engineering teams during the transformation into product-specific features and collaboration in customer projects
- Development of statistical models and machine learning methods for information extraction, pattern recognition, classification and prediction for large, structured and unstructured data sets
- Continuous validation and calibration of analytical models and execution of model benchmarks
- Development and realization of process models for quality analysis and functional integration of new data sources. Ensuring consistency and data quality as well as responsibility for data quality reports.


Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, business mathematics, statistics, physics or a comparable field of study
- Initial work experience, ideally in the fields of data analytics or data science in the Big Data environment would be an advantage
- Profound knowledge in explorative data analysis (incl. visualization), machine learning, statistics and related topics
- Confident use of Python is a prerequisite. Practical experience in the application of data analytics tools such as R and Jupiter is an advantage
- Practical experience with relational database technologies (e.g. PostGres) and excellent programming skills in SQL. Experience with graph databases (e.g. Neo4j) and NoSQL databases (e.g. Mongo) is an advantage
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills. You think in completely new directions and enjoy combining complex procedures and innovative digitization concepts in new, powerful products and services
- Experience in supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment is desirable
- Very good presentation and communication skills
- Good English level (writing and speaking).
