Manager Data Science (offline)

We are looking for a hub manager. You will oversee audience management operational activities in the markets aiming to drive conversion and retention. You will work on strategy application and with markets and the rest of the hubs to help activate and evangelize customer segmentation via chosen technology platforms, analyze results, and structure programs covering a wide variety of customer-facing channels and touch points (paid, earned, and owned online and offline channels). You will provide analysis to devise new ways to tap into consumer data in order to fuel the broader data driven consumer engagement strategy. You review briefs to come with data-driven audience segmentation and targeting strategies and will activate these.

Responsibilities:
• Thoroughly understand our proprietary audience solutions and native audience targeting capabilities platforms offer and be able to explain the concept/train a wide audience with different levels of understanding
• Gaining a deep understanding of existing consumers in order to execute targeting strategies to increase revenue, reduce churn, increase customer sentiment, grow community using the Global Segmentation Framework while taking into account local market nuances
• Work with data scientists to deploy and implement targeting solutions based on qualitative and quantitative data using advanced statistical techniques;
• Provide insights and hands-on recommendations for online marketing campaigns from those models;
• Gather key audience learnings from markets;
• Identify available data sources to pull existing audience insights and work with other functions to develop methods to gain new insights;
• Manipulate large volume raw data to produce structured data sets for analysis.

Skills & experience:
• Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree in related discipline;
• Work experience in either Marketing or Consumer Value Management;
• Detail oriented, technically savvy, marketing and analytical skills;
• Experience with digital marketing (campaigns) and sales analyses and reports;
• Significant experience in analyzing online and offline data;
• Very strong analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision making;
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling techniques such as regression, cluster analysis, experimental design, etc. and their application in solving business problems;
• SQL experience and working experience with relational databases;
• Experience with machine learning and natural language processing a plus;
• R, Python, Spark or Hadoop a strong plus;
• Experience with NoSQL a plus;
• Self-starter with ability to quickly ramp up on new tools and technologies;
• Ability to manage in an environment of uncertainty, ambiguity and complexity with diverse stakeholders.
