Software Test Engineer (offline)

BICS IoT solutions aim to offering a global (worldwide) data connectivity solution for IoT device using GSM network (2G, 3G, 4G and soon 5G network) allowing device to exchange data from any location in the world leveraging our BICS global network and carrier relationship. Technically that means BICS is hosting and developing all the core element of a GSM network (HLR, PGW, OCs, etc.) as well as all the OSS/BSS tooling to manage it (pricing, billing, rating, portal, API, etc.).

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of testing theory
Ability to abstract complex solution (strong analytical skills)
Ability to validate functional analysis and technical design document, provide estimates
Experience with API testing
Understanding and good experience working according to agile principles (Scrum)
SQL knowledge

Will be an advantage
While having telecom knowledge would be a big plus, we are willing to leverage our team of experts to train you on the basic of a 3G/4G core network. We expect you to be swift and eager to learn
Experience in test automation (Java core) will help to define areas for automation and will improve overall testing strategy
Knowledge of Jira, Zephyr for Jira
Experience with management of testing processes on project from initiation till closure

Personal Skills
We expect the selected specialists to be team players in an international team, being able to effectively communicate
Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
Pro-active communication in case of questions, issues, improvement proposals etc., is crucial
The teams are spread over Belgium, Spain, India and Ukraine. Therefore, willingness to travel is a must (once borders are opened)
