DevOps Engineer (offline)

Requirements:
— Linux fundamentals and scripting;
— Knowledge of the following tools and technologies:
▪ Source Code Management (GIT, GitHub)
▪ Configuration Management (e.g. Puppet, Chef, and Ansible)
▪ Logging;
— Some experience with web development (LAMP);
— Very good knowledge and experience of working with and querying
databases;
— Knowledge of and experience with at least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, PHP, Python;
— Bachelor degree in Computer Science;
— Willingness to learn new things.

Nice to have:
— Experience working with web frameworks (ideally Symfony) and/or CMS;
— Experience with processing large amounts of data on a cluster, e.g.
Spark, Hadoop/MapReduce, Pig, Hive;
— Continuous Integration
— Continuous Testing
— Continuous Monitoring
— Containerization

Responsibilities:
— Operation, maintenance and development of backend services;
— Develops, manages and improves processes for processing of large amounts of data;
— Contributes to product and performance improvements and optimisation of existing services;
— Maintains existing services;
— Develops robustness into system infrastructure;
— Performs recovery of systems/services when needed;
— Carries out bug fixing as required;
— Ensures quality of new source code;
— Writes automated tests (Unit tests, Integration tests).
