What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a dedicated QA Automation Engineer.
Required Technology Knowledge and Experience:
JavaScript and Chai.js or Mocha
API manual and automated testing (Postman)
Git
Linux basic commands
SQL

Basic knowledge of following would be a plus:
UI automation: Selenium Web Driver, XPath
CI/CD Jenkins/Gitlab CI basic knowledge
Data-Driven testing
JMeter, understanding of performance testing
Java, TestNG /JUnit would be a plus
Maven
Testing knowledge and experience:
SDLS, Defect Life Cycle
Testing types and levels, Test Methodologies
Test Design Techniques, Test Documentation

General requirements:
Experience in automating REST API rests
2+ year experience of work on commercial projects as QA Automation Engineer
Good spoken and written English communication skills
Being opened to learning and applying new technologies
Ability to work in a team, good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain autotests for REST API within existing framework according to existing requirements
Analyze requirements, create test scenarios using proper test design techniques;
Select, prioritize scenarios for automation;
Extend test coverage and maintain UI autotest framework
Write supporting documentation
Monitor and report on test coverage, test progress and test results
Preparing test data and environment, execute autotests, analyze results
Troubleshoot, analyze and report defects into defect tracking system
Verify fixes
Create scripts for integration testing

Project Methodologies
TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL.
Server stack: Node.js, mocha, mysql, WebSocket, zeromq.
Client stack: React, WebSocket.
