Senior Java Developer

Our client is the market leading producer of Integrated Circuits Lithography and Metrology machines, based in the Netherlands.
Project scope is the development and maintenance of standalone desktop and server-based software for Metrology (lithography measurement process) machines.

Responsibilities:
New features development, unit/functional testing, design documentation.
Development is mostly for new features
Development is mostly for back-end side

Mandatory Skills:
Bachelor's degree
4+ years of Java development experience
JSE, JEE
JBoss, Wildfly application servers, microservice architecture
UI frameworks (JavaFX)
Experience with server-side software, multithreading, performance and memory optimization.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
AGILE way of working
Mathematical background is a plus
Team player attitude.
Initiative to address project pitfalls and targets.
Autonomy for problem-solving, acting as a driver
Interest to gain domain knowledge (IC Lithography and Metrology processes).
Ability to think in abstractions: system design, defensive programming, how to deliver a robust/scalable solution

Languages:
English: B2 Upper Intermediate
