Senior Golang Developer (offline)

Project description:

The Customer has various software solutions to work on.
The main service stack is written in Golang, and tightly integrated with AWS Elemental. Services in this stack are related to managing various video content and/or video processing units, dynamic video injection, performing data validation and processing the responses from various custom APIs.

Primarily you would work with AWS Elemental stack, SCTE35-compatible dynamic ad insertion, low latency high definition streaming, stream redundancy, monitoring etc.
This job will require understanding of API and network performance monitoring and optimization

Responsibilities:

Development (code, testing, creating documentation) and support of new/existing Go services
Code review and performance testing for new/existing Go/Node.JS services
Software architecture design for new software solutions
R&D of possible points to improve in both software and its architecture as well as their infrastructure
Permission and prohibition of playing content for the user based on his current subscriptions and rights
Providing meta information to client applications for gear shifting and error tracking
Working with live players.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in Golang development
Profound 1+ year experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Redis, DynamoDB, and fasthttp
Half a year of experience in using and optimizing net/http-based services
Knowledge of React, Node.js

Nice to have: Verizon Media Platform, AWS Elemental

Exceptional communication skills
English level: Upper Intermediate.
