Software Engineer (.NET) (offline)

RWS Tridion Sites is a web content management tool, used by global organizations, to power their web platforms. It’s a complex product used by many editors around the world to create, localize and publish their content.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of development experience.
Good knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
Experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
Good knowledge of object-oriented concepts.
Ability to write clean, well-structured, and organized code.
Understanding unit and integration testing principles.
Understanding Agile development processes.
Good verbal and written English skills.
Experience with Database design and optimization.

Will be a plus:

Product-oriented thinking, preferably experience in working for a product company.
Experience work under Git distributed version control.
Experience with DevOps methodology.

Responsibilities:

As a member of a cross-functional Agile team creates high-quality solutions that respond to the business needs.
Perform a variety of software development activities such as design, development, integration, test automation, and occasional 3rd line support essential for the enhancement and maintenance of the RWS Tridion Sites product.
Working with Product Management and Product Owners to shape the product backlog
Be involved with the troubleshooting and resolution of defects in the software.
Be part of a continuous improvement atmosphere, proactively suggesting improvements to the website design and development processes.
Reporting progress and identifying, escalating , and removing obstacles that might endanger the team and business objectives
Providing input to technical writers

- Tridion is 25 years on the market and is built content management solution with global brands and teams in mind.
- In Tridion we have the flat management structure, we utilize Agile/SCRUM in the teams and Scaled Agile Framework to integrate the effort from various teams.
- The team is focusing on the Core of the Tridion Content Management platform and enables other teams to implement the content management functionality on top of the Core.
- The Content Management Feature team in Ukraine has full product ownership and collaborates with the teams in Amsterdam and others locations. We take ownership and are responsible for the core platform of the Tridion Sites solution.
- The team consists of 1 Product Owner, 5 .NET Software Engineers (incl. Architect), 4 QA Engineers.

What are the technologies we use?
- .NET 4.8
- Migrating current .NET Framework application to .NET Core. We aim to Docker-ise the solutions going forward. We build the new applications and components using .NET Core.
- We build the OpenAPI following the RESTful principles. Swagger to the help here. Built on React stack, the freshly-built UI applications are using the OpenAPI.
- We support multiple RDBMs - MSSQL, Oracle. Exploring opportunities to support additional storage solutions.
- Our solution is cloud-ready and we ourselves are running managed cloud deployments for some of our customers. The cloud solution is completely automated and using IAAS leveraging, AWS CloudFormation, Python, and Chef.

- You will learn how to engineer and develop solutions on top of the mature enterprise-scale architecture. We design solutions and integrate them with the other components, like Content Delivery.

- Our engineers represent RWS and Tridion internationally. You will take part in presenting at the Company events, like Tridion Expert Summit.
- The team is building the platform both for On-Premise and for Cloud. You will learn how to develop cloud-enabled enterprise applications.
